Dr. Jeffrey D. Shepherd is a lifelong resident of the Ogden area where he earned a bachelor's degree at Weber State University. He then earned his dental degree at Oregon Health Sciences University and a master's degree in orthodontics at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then returned to the Ogden area in 1989 and opened his first office at our current location in South Ogden. A second office was opened in Eden in 1997 which is located just minutes away from Snowcrest Junior High, thus allowing patients to walk from school to their appointments.

Dr. Shepherd is committed to improving the orthodontic profession and has served on the board of directors for the Utah Association of Orthodontists for several years. He also served as President of that association from 2003–2004. He is also an active member of the Utah Dental Association as well as the American Association of Orthodontists.

He and his wife, Marie, enjoy most outdoor activities especially if they involve spending time with their children, Brooke and her husband Mark and their daughter Ireland, Casey and his wife Britney, McCall and her husband Ryan, and Shelby.
